Rachel Hargis, Calvin Moore, Scott Ramsey, & David Sidebotham talk about the government shutdown, Nine Inch Nails and Scott Stapp, and the whether the judgment of God is ultimately retributive or restorative.
Rachel Hargis, Calvin Moore, Scott Ramsey, & David Sidebotham talk about Calvin's uncanny resemblance to Tupac Shakur, Scott Ramsey's apparent fan club, and whether Christians ought to be questioning the Church or not.
At The Christian Manifesto we don’t insulate ourselves. We believe that all of Creation is charged with the grandeur of God. We’re just as comfortable reviewing and critiquing the creative work of Eminem as we are Steven Curtis Chapman. We won’t crucify an artist because he swears too much nor will we praise an artist simply because they make worship music. We won’t degrade an author because their writing is risqué or praise one because their main character is an Amish woman. We’ll say things in our blogs that buck the status quo and (possibly) raise your ire, all while believing that God is fully revealed in the person of Jesus. We will interview voices both inside and outside the Christian sphere, pulling no punches with either crowd.
We’re Christians. We’re reviewers. We’re bloggers. We’re interviewers. We’re a team, but we do not always agree with one another. We attempt to come by each identity honestly.
Welcome to The Christian Manifesto. Gracious Praise. Straight-Forward Critique.
