FAQs

WHAT IS THE CHRISTIAN MANIFESTO?

The Christian Manifesto is the ONLY pure review/interview site written from a Christian point-of-view. We primarily review books, movies, and music, whether established or independent. We also interview many of the top and up-and-coming names from within the Christian culture (and occasionally stellar voices from outside the Christian culture).

WHY DOES THE CHRISTIAN MANIFESTO REVIEW NON-CHRISTIAN MATERIALS? HOW IS THAT CHRISTIAN?

We are convicted that all of creation is charged with the grandeur of God. As such, we feel that sequestering ourselves from the surrounding culture is more harmful than helpful. This does not mean that we give glowing reviews to materials that are blatantly offensive, but it also means that we will review all materials based upon their own merits. We are not scared of the culture. We want to help people understand how to discern it.

WILL THE CHRISTIAN MANIFESTO REVIEW MY BOOK/FILM/ALBUM?

Possibly. Please refer to our ‘Submissions’ page here.

IS THE CHRISTIAN MANIFESTO LOOKING FOR NEW WRITERS?

Yes!

We are currently looking for writers to cover:

Fiction — Contemporary, Speculative, Thrillers/Suspense, Young Adult

Non-Fiction — Theology, Christian Living, Memoirs, Autobiography, Politics

Music — Hard Rock, Gospel, Pop/CCM, Worship

Bloggers — Theology and Pop Culture Bloggers

I POSTED A COMMENT AND THEN IT DISAPPEARED. WHAT GIVES?

We moderate our comments. This is to safeguard against abusive speech and to catch things that our spam filter sometimes misses. It may take a little while for your comment to show up, but never longer than a few hours. Once you have had one review posted on the site (which proves you are not a spammer, but an actual human being), your comments will automatically by-pass our moderation process.
