Calvin Moore is the creator and administrator of The Christian Manifesto. He holds a BS in History and a BA in Christian Ministry from Rochester College in Rochester Hills, MI. He is currently working on his Master’s of Religious Education with a focus in Missional Leadership. His work has been published in the Northstar Magazine, The Oakland Press, and the Detroit Free Press. He has interviewed the likes of Pastor Mark Driscoll, NYT Best-Selling author Mitch Albom (Tuesdays with Morrie), and Hollywood film producer Ralph Winter (X-Men).
Calvin Moore hosts one of TCM’s podcast programs, TCM Talkback, where he has had the pleasure of talking with some of the biggest names in the Christian industry. Never one to shy from controversy or ask surface-level questions, he has found himself as a sought after speaker and has shared the stage with people who continue to awe him with their own respective ministries and organizations. Influenced by the talk radio of NPR, Tavis Smiley, and Pierce Morgan, Calvin Moore hopes to continue asking probing questions long into the future.
He is heavily involved with his local church in the city of Detroit and believes that Jesus has a lot in store for the poor, the marginalized, and the forgotten. As part of his love for the city, CalvinMoore loves touring local museums, trekking through historical neighborhoods, and frequenting local coffeeshops and eateries. It is from this city that he believes his first book will be written.
